Remember back to April of this year and the first time you heard Tulane might drop athletics to Division III. Then, think about May and the fight to get the word out to all Tulane supporters, fans and alumni. Remember the contributions, the teamwork and effort to "save" Tulane football. Finally, recall the relief and celebration of June 10th when "our" efforts helped save something we all love so much.
Many, many fans, alumni and supporters came together for this victory. From the "fan" that didn't attended Tulane but liked the underdog when he was a kid, to the alumnus who had not purchased tickets since his graduation 20
years ago, a fire was awaken in all of us to "do more" for our team.
Less than 60 days have passed since our victory. We have taken to momentum from this victory and some of the key players have decided to create the Krewe of Green Wave.
